So, this is it.
My buddy Rhett and I started talking a few years back about what it would be like to write a book and have it published, tour around the world, and then live of all the proceeds. We would live in big houses (not really) and go on tour to talk to millions of people about the issues of life.
Well that never happened. Truthfully it probably never will. Who knows what God has in store for our lives. There was a bright idea though. Due to the simple fact the Internet chases around truth and claims to have been nothing but truth, we decided to go for second best and post our thoughts about life, love, and the pursuit of happiness on the web. It just makes sense.
Some Background
Rhett and I went to college together and although we never got the chance to hang out to watch the NBA finals together or even the Stanley Cup we always maintained a friendship through talks we would have at breakfast and lunch. We both see the world through two sets of completely different eyes. Rhett was the student body president and I was the one that pushed all the rules. I got married and Rhett stayed single. Rhett loves basketball and I hate it. I see one mistake in a message and I dwell on it, Rhett gets the whole picture. However, our common bond is found in the joy of Christ and his love for us by dying on the cross for our sins. I’m an evangelist (if you couldn’t tell) and Rhett is the life motivator. Even though we have diffences, the simple concept of Christ is something that has rooted our relationship and sparked us to remain such close friends for such along time.
School came and went quickly and Rhett and I found ourselves in two different states doing the exact same job. We both have taken the call of the Lord and accepted positions as youth pastors. Rhett’s church is pretty large and well mine is small town, down home, country. However we both know that subjects come up on life all the time. Subjects that are worth talking about and need discussed.
Wait.
Is this going to be about youth and how to reach them for Christ?
No!
As a matter of fact this is a way for Rhett and I to continue our conversations even though we are states apart. To keep thinking about issues that we both face. To dwell on topics in our world today. Maybe we’ll talk about the youth sometimes, but its more for us.
It’s a way for you to pull up a chair to our table.
To experience something remarkable and life changing.

We want to know what you think as well….
